Tonight was the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce's 7th Police & Firefighter's Tribute held at the Mount Vernon Country Club. The event honored officers from the Franconia Police Station, the Mount Vernon Police Station, Fire & Rescue Stations throughout south Alexandria, and Fort Belvoir public safety. Among those being honored were two of IAFF Local F-273's own, Lieutenant Scott Wolff of Fire Station 65, and Firefighter/Medic Erin Eusanio of Fire Station 64. Lt. Wolff received the Firefighter of the Year award, and FF/M Eusanio received the Firefighter/Medic of the Year award for her continued effort in furthering the EMS program at Fort Belvoir. Congratulations Scott & Erin on your hard work and dedication!
