Northern Virginia Federal Fire Peer Support page is up

To all our Firefighter Brothers and Sisters, the Northern Virginia Federal Fire Peer Support page is up and running. The page will be used as a resource page for peer support, mental health/PTSD counseling and substance abuse programs within the fire service. It will be Northern Virginia oriented, but anyone Federal, Municipal or Volunteer is welcome....even cops. ?
It’s a new project and still growing, but keep checking it. Our IAFF locals of Fort Myer and Fort Belvoir as well as the respective FES’s are working hard to be the leaders in this field and stomp out old stigmas. We have IAFF trained peer supporters, counselors, clerical support and EAP social workers who have gone on and sought out further training to try and bring subject matter experts to the field of peer support in the Federal Fire Service. We have set the goal of no Brother or Sister left behind. Check the group out. Like and share the page.
